"DARE TO DREAM"

We invite you to dare to dream again. The New Moon is the darkest night of the month, when the sky has no light from the moon. We invite you to explore those hidden places within yourself, where your dreams are stored. It is only at New Moon when the human eye can see the very faintest stars. When the moon is shining there is too much light in the sky to see them. And so within ourselves, when we dare to look into our secret, private places, there are treasures to discover.

At New Moon, the tide goes out the furthest of any time in the month, drawn away by the power of the Moon. The secrets of the shoreline that are usually covered by the sea are available to those who seek them. What richness lies there, whispering to the New Moon? This is an auspicious time for us to look within ourselves, to see what bounty we have forgotten.

What dreams have you buried deep inside? What have you wanted for yourself that you put aside as impossible? What secret longings have you hidden even from yourself? What ideas have taken seed and been slowly growing even though you have not tended them? What childhood plans have you shelved as you felt the weight of responsibility and the demands of everyday life? What ideas have you abandoned because someone laughed at you? What secret plans do you have that have not seen the light of day?

We invite you to dare to dream again. We invite you to spread out your dreams, to bring them to light. We invite you to play with them, consider them, be kind to them and nurture them. Let them grow, give them space, breathe and develope. Let them show you their beauty, let them talk to you, let them shine. The world is a better place when you allow yourself to dream.
Be tender with your dreams. Speak of them only to those who have ears to hear. Speak them into the darkness. Share them with the New Moon. Speak them to your Moon Friends round the world. We support you in dreaming. We support you in realizing your dreams.
